Fire Safety Training Solution for Complex Commercial Infrastructures
Our client is a trusted health, hygiene, and safety advisor for over 200 companies across the USA for 20 years. We developed a fire training system for multi-tenant commercial buildings. It allows individuals from different organizations to practice fire safety protocols on-site, improving readiness and compliance.
Technical stack includes:
- Back-end: C#, .NET Core;
- Front-end: ReactJS;
- Databases: EF Core, MSSQL, Web API (REST);
- Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Jenkins Role;
Initial challenges
- The previous system was built using technologies that are over 10 years old, which led to issues with basic security.
- There was a lack of available specialists on the job market who can support or improve a system built on outdated technologies.
- The goal was to develop a new system based on the structure of the existing, proven one — but with updated security standards and improvements required by the business.
- No in-house tech team
- Internal champion (CTO) needed help to progress platform development, fix bugs, and upgrade the tech stack
- Lack of dedicated team members and technical expertise
- Need for temporary, project-based team augmentation
- No trusted external vendors to support the CTO’s goals
